Owls To Hold 2nd Annual Midnight Madness

The Florida Atlantic men's and women's basketball teams will celebrate the beginning start of the 2011-12 basketball season with a "Midnight Madness" event on Thursday, October 20.

The event will be held in the FAU Arena, beginning at 8 p.m. Fans will have a chance to meet the 2011-12 men's and women's basketball teams, participate in contests, listen to live music and win prizes. Head men's basketball coach Mike Jarvis and head women's coach Chancellor Dugan will also on hand to join in the festivities.

The event is free and open to the public and the first 1000 students in attendance will receive free mini basketballs.
