Bradenton, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team concluded play at the USF Waterlefe Invitational on Tuesday, finishing in ninth place.
The Owls compiled a 993 score over the 54-hole event on the Waterlefe Country Club's 6,059-yard, par-72 layout. FAU shot a 318 during Monday's second round for its lowest score of the tournament.
Junior Anna Wiklund earned a 28th-place finish with a 240 composite score after having three consistent rounds. She had an 80 on Tuesday after scoring an 81 and 79 during Monday's action. Junior Marilyne Cadieux finished in 39th place with a 253, highlighted by a seven-over-par 79 in the second round. Sophomores Madden Leen and Kayla DeSuza rounded out the Owls scores for the event.
The team will return to the links on October 23 when it participates in FIU's Pat Bradley Invitational in Fort Myers.
