PHILADELPHIA, PA - Toyria Mattear ran a season best time in the 400 meter hurdles at the Penn Relays over the weekend.

Mattear finished 13th in the event in a time of 1:00.24, which is the best time in the conference this season. It is also a second and a half faster than her time in the same event as last year's meet.

Mattear and the rest of the FAU track team will take some time before heading to Denton, TX to participate in the Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The meet will be held May 7-9, hosted by the University of North Texas.
