Track Competes at UCF Invitational

ORLANDO, FL - The Florida Atlantic track team competed at the UCF Invitational in Orlando over the weekend.
Helen Mann finished second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, in of 12:03.66. Patricia Gumbs also finished second in the 800 meters in 2:10.43. Both times are personal bests and the best in the conference in their respective events.
Charlene Luxama (2:12.32/5th) and Toni Jackson (2:12.37/6th) also set personal records in the 800 meters. Jessica Jetmore (pole vault), Katie Quick (5,000 meters) and Lindsay Lucas (1,500 meters) also set personal records in their respective events.
Most of the team will take some time off, while selected athletes will compete in the Florida Relays next weekend.
