BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University Cheerleading Program has organized a clinic to help you prepare for college cheerleading tryouts. This clinic has been developed to help individuals who plan to make the transition from high school to college cheerleading. At this clinic, you will get help with coed and all girl stunt techniques, tumbling, fitness, and interview skills.
We believe that you will benefit from this clinic if you are interested in trying out as a college cheerleader anywhere across the nation. The techniques and skills that we will help you develop will give you a big head start over your competitors.
At this clinic, you can expect to be taught by current members of the Florida Atlantic University Cheerleaders in a low-pressure, safe, and fun environment.
Heather C. Henderson, head coach of the FAU Cheerleading team, has developed a strong college cheer program and will help with advice and answer any questions or concerns that you might have about the tryout procedure.
The clinic will be held April 3 10:00am to 1:00 p.m. at the CheerFormance Xtreme Cheer Gym.
The cost of the clinic is $60.00 the application will be used to help us evaluate each individual and separate you into groups by skill level in order to better benefit you at the clinic. All materials must be completed and returned with some proof of medical insurance along with the clinic fee by March 20th 2010.
If hotel accommodations are needed, information has been provided with the registration form.
This clinic is recommended for anyone planning to try out as a college cheerleader, but if you plan to try out at Florida Atlantic University we highly suggest you attend.
If you would like a t-shirt please add 15.00 to your application. All T-shirt orders must be in by March 15th 2010 in order to receive t-shirt.
