SAINT LOUIS, MO - The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team fell to Saint Louis 60-52 on Sunday afternoon at Chaifetz Arena.
The Owls (3-7) received a season-high 22 points from Breana Turner to go along with seven rebounds and one assist. Turner's previous season-high was 11 points all the way back on November 12 against Webber International.
The Billikens (5-7) led 31-25 at halftime despite going 0-for-4 from three-point range and committing 12 turnovers.
FAU tied the game at 35-35 but that is as close as they would get. The Owls did not hold a lead in the game.
Vontrice Dennis finished one basket shy of a double-double and tallied eight points and 11 rebounds. Dennis has recorded double-digit rebounds in six of the nine games she has appeared in this season.
Ayriell Robinson paced SLU with a career-high 20 points. Mallory Eggert recorded 11 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in addition to notching the first double-double of her career.
