Men's Hoops Defeat Lynn 81-61

BOCA RATON, FL - Senior forward Brett Royster had 11 points and 10 rebounds in the Florida Atlantic men's basketball team's 81-61 win over crosstown Lynn on Monday night.
The Owls seized control early in the contest, building a 14-3 lead less than seven minutes into the game.
Lynn got to within five, 26-21 with exactly seven minutes remaining in the first half, but FAU regained the momentum and an Alex Tucker layup sent the Owls into the locker room up 38-28.
The score was 46-35 in the Owls' favor when they went on a 12-2 run that sealed the victory.
Kore White led all scorers with 17 points, while Tucker and Greg Gantt added 13 each for FAU. The Owls will begin the regular season by traveling to Portland, OR to take part in the Athletes in Action Classic.
