BOWLING GREEN, KY - Senior Anne Vaughan had eight kills, but the Florida Atlantic volleyball team (10-9, 1-2 Sun Belt) lost to Western Kentucky in three sets (15-25, 15-25, 20-25) on Friday.
The Owls fell behind early in each set, and could not catch up to the Hilltoppers (14-4, 3-0). Georgia Robinson followed closely with seven kills. Joanne Marras Tate had 22 assists and nine digs to lead FAU.
FAU continues its road trip on Saturday when they face Middle Tennessee State at 8 p.m. eastern. Live stats of the match will be available at goblueraiders.com.
