Volleyball Opens Conference Schedule at ULM Tournament

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will travel to Monroe, LA to participate in the Adidas Warhawk Bayou Showdown this weekend.
The Owls will play ULM in their first match of the tournament. The match will also be the Sun Belt conference opener for FAU. The two teams played in Boca Raton last season with the Owls winning in four sets. Krystena Castro had 10 kills in the match.
FAU will play Jackson State and McNeese State on Saturday. Jackson State lost all three of its matches at the South Alabama Jaguar Classic over the weekend. McNeese State swept nine straight sets in winning their home tournament last weekend.
The Owls play ULM on Friday, September 18. The match is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Live stats of all three matches will be available at fausports.com and ulmathletics.com.
