BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic men's soccer team secured a 1-0 victory over Howard University on Friday night from FAU Soccer Field. Sophomore midfielder Karol Chorak tallied a penalty kick goal in the 35th minute and FAU played solid defense the rest of the way to earn the win.
The Owls (2-1-0) also received another stellar performance from freshman goalkeeper Jeremy Crumpton. The Orlando, Florida native recorded three saves en route to the shutout victory. Crumpton improved to 2-0 on the season and has recorded 11 saves in his first 195 minutes in net without allowing a goal.
Florida Atlantic will be back in action on Sunday afternoon at 2 PM to take on Stetson University at FAU Soccer Field.
