BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic men's soccer team season opener against Jacksonville was cancelled due to rain. No makeup date has been announced.
The Owls were trailing 3-0 at halftime before the rain and inclement weather forced the start of the second half to be delayed. After a two-hour delay, the match was officially cancelled.
The next game for the men's soccer team will take place at home on Friday September 4 against UNC-Wilmington at 7:00 pm.
