BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team traveled to nearby Lynn University where they faced the University of North Florida in a neutral site match only to fall to the Osprey 5-2.
UNF picked up the doubles point and the first singles point only to see FAU's Virginia Augustin capture the first FAU point of the match. The Owls would fall at no. 1 singles to spot UNF 2-1 before Erika Mrazkova evened the score at two. It would be FAU's final point as UNF pulled away with the next three matches. Despite UNF securing the match Natalia Totevska fought on court two taking her match to a first set tiebreaker (13-11) and then fell in the second set 7-5.
FAU will next travel to Denton, Texas where the team will play in the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Championships, April 17-19.
