BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University pole vaulter Megan Miller won the FAU Pole Vault Challenge over the weekend. Miller won the competition with a vault of 11' 08" (3.55m) setting a new school record. Freshman Brooke Guy set a new personal record with a vault of 11' 02" (3.40) and placing 3rd in the competition.
"(Megan and Brooke) both have worked very hard this year and are poised to take their vaulting to the next level," said head coach Alex Smolka.
The 2009 Sun Belt Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championships will be held on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University beginning May 8th.
