BOCA RATON, FL - Senior Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn won second straight tournament title in helping the Florida Atlantic University women's golf team to a fifth place finish at the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational in Crystal River, FL.
Phol-Uayporn used a final day round of even par 72 to take her eighth career individual title. She finished the weekend with a total score of seven over 223 (74,77,72). "The wind today was the strongest wind I've ever played in, but I tried to stay focused and take it one shot at a time and it worked out," said Phol-Uayporn of her victory.
FAU team total of 942 for the weekend put them 17 strokes ahead of 6th place Houston Baptist University.
The Owls will travel to Gainesville, FL to take part in the Lady Gator Invitational, which will be their final regular season tournament, on April 6th and 7th.
