FAU Ends Parents' Weekend With Victory

BOCA RATON, FL - Rose Gressley had three RBI in the Florida Atlantic University softball team's 4-2 win over Bethune-Cookman University on Sunday in the final game of the Parents' Weekend tournament.
FAU (17-13) led 1-0 in the first inning when Gressley extended the margin to 3-0 with a two-run single to center. She had another RBI single in the third inning when she drove in Blair Bodenmiller.
Kat Stauffer held the Wildcats to just three hits in seven innings for her team best fifth win of the year.
The Owls finish their nonconference schedule when they play a doubleheader against Purdue on Monday. The doubleheader starts at 6 p.m. and live stats will be available via GameTracker at www.fausports.com.
