BOCA RATON, FL- The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team is in second place at the Eastern Kentucky University Diablo Intercollegiate (5,902 Yard/ Par 72) after completing two of three rounds on Thursday. Ball State University (304, 301- 605) leads the field despite FAU (300, 314- 614) hitting one of their best rounds of golf this year.
Senior Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn (68, 71- 139) is the individual leader of the tournament and is five under par. Phol-Uayporn's first round of 68 strokes is the second best of her career. Kimberly D'Andrea (76, 79- 155) is in 12th place but just one stroke out of the top 10. Karine Bolme (78, 81-159) and Elisabetta Bertini (78, 83 - 161) are in the top 35 and will contend for a top 25 finish tomorrow.
The EKU El Diablo Intercollegiate will conclude tomorrow with one round of play.
