BOCA RATON, FL - Senior Danielle Simone picked up Florida Atlantic University's lone point in the 6-1 loss to Stetson University.
FAU (3-9) traveled to Deland where the squad played just the third road match of the season. Stetson (4-3) picked up the doubles point and then swept 1-5 singles play in straight sets until no. 6 singles where Simone defeated Samantha Lang 6-1, 6-4.
FAU will next play host to Duquesne at 1 p.m. March 2 at Patch Reef Park.
