BOCA RATON, FL- The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team finished third at the Jacksonville University Women's Classic held at Hidden Hills C.C. (6,046 Yards/Par 72). FAU (332, 315- 647) started play this morning tied for fifth but shot 17 strokes better in the second round to move ahead of Florida Gulf Coast University and Sun Belt Conference opponent Troy University.

Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn (74, 80- 154) led FAU by garnering runner-up honors, her third top five finish of the year. Elisabetta Bertini (85, 77-162) and Jennifer Norton (87-79-166) joined Phol-Uayporn in the top 20. Bertini finished 15th after starting the day in 28th. Norton took eight less strokes than yesterday, moving her up 15 positions to 19th. Kimberly D'Andrea (89, 79-168) lowered her score 10 strokes, moving up 15 spots to 23rd place.

With their first tournament of the spring complete, FAU will look ahead to the EKU El Diablo Spring Invitational held in Ocala, FL on March 12-13.
