Volleyball Wins Sun Belt Academic Award

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team was honored for having the highest team grade point average of any team in the Sun Belt conference, the league announced Wednesday.
The award, which is based on the overall team GPA from the previous year, was given as part of the conference postseason awards recognition.
12 of 13 FAU players posted a 3.0 GPA or better in both semesters last season and had a cumulative team GPA of 3.58 for the 2008-09 school year.
