TUESDAY'S GAME: FAU (5-7, 1-1 Sun Belt) returns to the Burrow for the first time since a triple overtime win over Warner on December 10. The Owls went 1-4 on their most recent road trip and will be home for their next four games. Tonight's game is FAU's final nonconference game of the regular season.
TV/RADIO/INTERNET: All of FAU's games this season (home and away) air on live commercial radio ESPN - 760 AM with audio links available on FAU's official athletics website FAUSPORTS.com. Ken LaVicka (play-byplay) will call the game for ESPN760.
HOFSTRA: The Pride (7-5) returns to the court for the first time since a 61-52 loss to Davidson on December 21. Chaz Williams led the team with 14 points on the night. Both teams have faced Manhattan this season. Hofstra defeated the Jaspers 44-39 on December 9, while FAU lost to Manhattan 73-66 on November 23.
LAST TIME OUT: The Owls were defeated by Maryland 72-59 on Sunday. Raymond Taylor (16) and Greg Gantt (14) were the only two FAU players in double figures. Brett Royster had a career-high 14 rebounds in the game.
THE SERIES: Hofstra has won all four previous meetings with the Owls. The two teams last met on November 17, 2001, with Hofstra winning 67- 65.
