SUNDAY'S GAME: FAU (5-6, 1-1 Sun Belt) wraps up three consecutive games against ACC or SEC opponents with today's game at the Maryland Terrapins. The Owls played the Miami Hurricanes on Dec. 19 and at the University of Georgia on Dec. 23. This game also marks the second return this season of Mike Jarvis to the greater Washington, D.C. area. Coach Jarvis led the Owls to an 81-69 win over American on November 21.
TV/RADIO/INTERNET: All of FAU's games this season (home and away) air on live commercial radio ESPN - 760 AM with audio links available on FAU's official athletics website FAUSPORTS.com. Ken LaVicka (play-byplay) will call the game for ESPN760. The game is also available through videostreaming on UMTerps.com for $7.95.
MARYLAND: The Terrapins (7-3) defeated Winston-Salem State 98-55 on Tuesday night. Greivis Vazquez had 27 points and eight rebounds in the victory.
LAST TIME OUT: The Owls lost to Georgia 77-60 on Wednesday night. Georgia forward Trey Thompkins had a career-high 35 points and 15 rebounds to lead all players in both categories. Raymond Taylor and Shavar Richardson tied for the team-high with 12 points each for FAU.
THE SERIES: This is the first ever meeting between the two schools.
