Men's Hoops Opens Preseason Practice

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team opened its preseason practice schedule on Friday.
The Owls return four active players from last year's squad and are welcoming in a highly regarded recruiting class.
"The returners have improved tremendously in the last year and the newcomers are all showing promise," said head coach Mike Jarvis.
Coach Jarvis is very excited about the group he has assembled.
"I'm very pleased with the team. They have given great effort, energy, enthusiasm, and they all have great attitudes," said Jarvis. "Anytime you have a group that combines those things, you're going to very successful."
The Owls will begin their season on November 10 when they host Lynn in an exhibition game. Season tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling 1-866-FAU-OWLS.
