BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will face its toughest road trip of the season when its travels to Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State this weekend.
The Owls (9-4, 2-0 Sun Belt) face WKU at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 3. The Hilltoppers (12-3, 1-0) are led by reigning Sun Belt Player of the Week Megan Argabright, who had 12 kills in WKU's four-set upset win over MTSU last weekend. The Hilltoppers swept last year's season series with Argabright totaling 27 kills in the two matches. Live stats and live videostreaming of the match will be available at wkusports.com.
FAU will finish up the weekend on Saturday, October 4 at 8 p.m. when they travel to Murfreesboro, TN to take on MTSU. The Blue Raiders (10-3, 0-1) were ranked 15th in the AVCA preseason poll, but have struggled as of late, losing three of their last four matches and falling out of the top-25. MTSU features Ashley Asberry, who leads the conference in both hitting efficiency (.492) and blocks per set (1.31). MTSU took both of the 2007 meetings with FAU, although Casey LaRocca did set the all-time FAU career assists record in the match at MTSU.
Live stats of the MTSU match will be available at fausports.com, on the schedule page.
