FAU Monday Practice Report

The Florida Atlantic University Owls practiced at the FAU track and field complex field in the midst of drizzle and occasional heavy downpours. Despite the presence of Tropical Storm Fay, FAU was able to practice at all three scheduled times.

The practice allowed for players to experience adverse conditions and run drills aimed at playing with a wet ball. Punt returns were once again a focus of today's practice as well as overtime. Linebacker Brandon Hando made a statement today as he was able to intercept a ball and return it for a touchdown. Tight End Erik Hansen is seeing increased repetitions. Practice will continue tomorrow as scheduled.

Season and individual game tickets are on sale now. Tickets will be available for purchase at Fanfest. The Owls begin their home schedule against the University of Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday, September 6 at 4 p.m. at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
