Weberg Competes in FINA World Swimming Championships

Former Florida Atlantic University swimmer Ellie Weberg will compete in the FINA World Swimming Championships April 9-13 in Manchester, England. She will compete in the event with over 800 other swimmers from 130 countries. The event prepares athletes for the Olympic Trials as the 2008 Beijing Olympics approach. Weberg was a three-time participant in the NCAA Championships and picked up four All-America awards during her career at FAU. She helped guide the Owls to two Sun Belt Conference Championships and was named the Sun Belt Conference Female Swimmer of the Year.
