The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team shot a 312 on Monday in the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship. The score was two shots better than the first round, but saw the Owls drop to seventh place on the par-72, 6,064-yard Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals course.
Kimberly D'Andrea continues to lead FAU. She shot her second 76 in as many rounds to move up to a tie for 10th place. She had two birdies on the day and stood at par through the first 10 holes.
Karine Bolme moved up seven spots into a tie for 20th. She bettered her first round score by two strokes with a 77. Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn shot a 79, June Bolme an 83 and Gina Larsen an 80 to close out the FAU scoring. The tournament concludes on Wednesday.
