By shooting the low round on the day, Florida Atlantic University's Karine Bolme moved up 12 spots and led the Owls to their fourth consecutive women's golf tournament victory. FAU held the lowest team score in the third round to win the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational.
Karine Bolme started the day tied for 17th place, but shot a 69 on the par-72, 6,002-yard Plantation Inn Golf Course in the final round to move up to fifth. Bolme led an FAU squad that had four players finish in the top 10.
Sister June Bolme finished in eighth with a score of 227 followed by Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn and Kimberly D'Andrea in ninth with scores of 229. The Owls won the tournament nine strokes in front of second-place finisher Stetson.
The team closes out the regular season and will now prepare for the Sun Belt Conference Championship March 20-23 in Muscle Shoals, AL.
