FAU athletes and staff will compete against rival Florida International University to see who will donate the most blood for the Community Blood Centers of South Florida. The school that has the highest percentage of staff and athletes compete will receive a traveling trophy. Athletes and staff who donate blood will receive a free T-shirt and pizza. Along with the blood drive, the Community Blood Centers of South Florida will offer a mini-physical, including iron and cholesterol screenings.
The general public will be allowed to attend and give blood, however, the final total will be determined by the percentage of FAU student-athletes and staff who participate.
