After completing the first of two rounds on Thursday, Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn is tied for first at the EKU El Diablo Intercollegiate. Phol-Uayporn shot a 73 on the par-72, 5,654 yard El Diablo Golf Course to help Florida Atlantic University's women's golf team to first place after round one of the three-round tournament.
The Owls hold a two-stroke lead over tournament host Eastern Kentucky with a team score of 312. Gina Larsen is in contention at the tournament after shooting a 77. She is tied for sixth after round one. The tournament will conclude on Friday with the third round of the tournament in Citrus Springs, FL.
