The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team will open its 2008-09 season on Monday, October 6 and Tuesday, October 7 at the University of South Florida Waterlefe Invitational. The tournament will take place at the Waterlefe Golf and River Club in Bradenton, and is one of four tournaments the Owls will tee-off at this fall.
The Waterlefe Invitational features a 5,962-yard, par 72 course. Participating colleges include the University of South Florida, Bethune-Cookman University, Campbell University, Coastal Carolina University, Daytona State College, Florida International University, Grand Valley State University, Kennesaw State University, McNeese State University, Nova Southeastern University, Stetson University, University of Akron, University of Alabama-Birmingham, University of South Alabama and Troy University.
