FAU's Women's Cross Country Ranked 15th in Region

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's cross country program is ranked 15th in the South Region in the most recent U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll.
The poll, released Monday, ranks the top-15 schools in each of nine regions of the country. FAU was ranked 14th in the preseason ranking, marking the first regional ranking in program history. The South Region includes schools from Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Of the five Sun Belt schools in its region, FAU is the only one ranked. UALR is the only other Sun Belt school to be ranked in its respective region.
The women finished fourth at the FSU Invite last weekend and will face nine nationally ranked teams at this weekend's Notre Dame Invitational.
