Cross Country to Take Part In FSU Invitational

The Florida Atlantic University cross country team will compete in the FSU Invitational on Saturday.
It will be the first meet for FAU since the Gator Invitational. The women finished 5th and the men placed 10th at that meet. Friederike Feil was the high finisher for the Owls at that meet, finishing 20th in the women's 5K. Taylor Reeves was FAU's best competitor on the men's side, placing 38th in the 8K.
The FSU Invitational will welcome teams from all over the southeast. The women will be led by Feil and senior Barbara Fronrath who was the second highest finisher for the Owls at the Gator Invitational. Kyle Butler and Stephen Dassin will be two of the Owls key to helping the men finish high at the meet.
The 2007 FSU Invitational takes place at Miccosukee Greenway Park in Tallahassee on Saturday. The men's 8K will begin at 7:30 a.m. followed by the women's 5K at 8:10 a.m.
