BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University football Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger, four football players and three cheerleaders took part in the 10th Annual Pineapple Grove Bed Race, Parade and Street Dance on May 18 in Delray Beach, FL.
Coach Schnellenberger, football players Josh Pinnick, Kris Bartels, Taheem Acevedo, Rusty Smith and FAU cheerleaders Ashley Kent, Meresa Mutillo and Alexis Agusto entertained fans during the day's activities, including the parade where the Owls handed out schedule cards, posters and other gifts from FAU's athletic department to onlookers during the day's events.
Prior to the Owls first kick-off in 2000, FAU captured the 2000 Pineapple Grove Bed Race and represented Delray Beach, FL at the National competition in Hawaii.
