Coach Schnellenberger, Owsley, Help Celebrate Arbor Day

Florida Atlantic University Head Football Coach Howard Schnellenberger and Owsley recently helped plant seeds in celebration of Arbor Day.
The event was held in collaboration with Doubletree Guest Suites and The National Arbor Day Foundation. Students from Trinity Christian Academy joined Coach Schnellenberger and Owsley to help plant seeds in order to preserve the environment. 150 similar celebrations, known as the National Green Ribbon Tree-bute, were held around the country.
Students tied ribbons around the trees at the Academy and took part in the dedication of the Great Caring Community Forest, made of 100% recycled paper, and was decorated with the thoughts of students on the importance of trees. All students were also given a seedling to take home and plant to "regreen" their own neighborhood.
