Greenville, NC - Junior Michael Berger shot 2-under par for the Florida Atlantic University men's golf team after two rounds, as they completed day one action at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate on Monday.
Berger (73, 69, -142) had a four stroke improvement in the second of two rounds held at the Bradford Creek Golf Course. He is in a tie for 10th place. Billy Bowling (74, 69, -143) shot just one stroke behind Berger and is tied for 14th place at the par 72, 7,151 yard course. Adam Kolloff (71, 74 -145), Derren Garber (74, 71, -145), and Andrew Storm (77, 75 -152) round out the Owl field with a dual tie for 29th and a tie for 66th respectively.
FAU (292, 283, -575) is in sixth place out of 15 competitors. Radford (286, 279 -565) is in first place entering the final day. Both Nick Nosewicz (67, 70 -137) of Barton College and Adam Gruber (70, 67 -137) of Tenessee State are tied for the current medalist honors.
Florida Atlantic will wrap up the three-round event on Tuesday. The first tee time is set for 8:30 a.m.
