Mobile, AL - Florida Atlantic University women's golf began its second tournament of the spring on Monday. Sophomore Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn is currently tied for eighth place in the South Alabama hosted USA Lady Jaguar Invitational.
Phol-Uayporn (37, 37 - 74) shot 1-over during both the front and back nine, finishing the day in a tie for eight place. Jennifer Norton (35, 40 -75) shot 3-over par in the first round at the Azalea City Golf Course in Mobile, AL and is currently in a tie for 16th. June Bolme (39, 38 -77), Kimberly D'Andrea (45, 39- 84), and Sandi MacDougall (42, 44 -86) rounded out the Owl Competitors with a tie for 31st, 91st, and 99th finish after one day.
FAU (310) is in a tie for 11th place heading into the final day. The Par 72, 5821 yard course features Middle Tennessee State (299) as its current leader. Katelyn Stanier (34, 35 - 69) is in first place with a 3-under par mark.
The tournament wraps up tommorrow with an 8:30 A.M. tee time.
