Mobile, AL - Sophomore Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn finished in a tie for third place at the Lady Jaguar Invitational, which wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon in Mobile, AL.
Phol-Uayporn (74, 71 -145) shot 1-under par in the second day of the par-72, 5,821 yard course. Jennifer Norton (75, 72 -147) shot an even par in the second round and ended the event in a tie for seventh. June Bolme (77, 74 -151) had a 2-under par performance in the second round, and completed the two-round event in a tie for 19th. Sandi MacDougall (86, 83 -169) and Kimberly D'Andrea (84, 86 -170) round out the Owl golfers with a tie for 96th and 99th place finish.
FAU (310, 300 -610) had a 10-stroke improvement in the second round and finished in sixth place. Middle Tennessee State (299, 292 -591) was the team winner. Their athlete Taryn Durham (74, 68 - 142) was the individual medalist with a 4-under par performance on the final day.
The Owls are back on the green this Friday in the Spring Lake Invitational, hosted by Northern Illinois in Sebring, FL.
