In the first day of competition at the NCAA Zone B Championships, five Florida Atlantic University divers competed at the University of Georgia. Three FAU women and two men finished competition on the 3-meter and 1-meters boards, respectively.
Lauren Harvath led the women with a 37th place finish with a score of 219.85 followed by Lisa Thompson in 40th (215.75) and Samantha Schlachterman in 43rd (208.20) on the 3-meter board.
On the men's side, Nick McMahon finished 34th with a score of 229.80 and Andrew Scully placed 41st with a score of 181.55 in the 1-meter board.
The three-day event will run through Sunday at the University of Georgia.
