Charleston, SC - Florida Atlantic University Men's Golf completed its first spring tournament on Tuesday afternoon. Mark Washburn finished in a tie for seventh in the three round CSU Spring Kick Off Tournament that was held in Charleston, SC.
Washburn (73, 74, 75- 222) shot 8-over-par in the par-71, 6593 yard course. His tie for seventh place finish was his highest of the year. Adam Kolloff (77, 82, 72- 231) had a strong final round, shooting 1-over-par on his way to a tie for 22nd place. Derren Garber, (84, 71, 80- 235), Michael Berger, (77, 80, 79- 236) and Andrew Storm (79, 82, 79- 240) round out the Owl competitors with a 34th, tie for 35th, and tie for 45th place finish respectively.
FAU (306, 307, 305- 918) placed in seventh place in the two day-event. The host Charleston Southern (289, 297, 287- 873) was the team winner with three individuals in the top ten. Their competitor Shawn Hall (69, 71, 72, 212) was the individual medalist, shooting 1-under-par.
Florida Atlantic will be back in action Saturday February, 24 in the Bethune Cookman Tournament.
