Boca Raton, FL - June Bolme finished in ninth place as the Owls wrapped up their first spring tournament on Tuesday at the Pat Bradley Championship in Miami, FL.
Bolme (78, 78, 77-233) shot her best round of 77 on Tuesday, finishing the 6020 yard course with a par-17.Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn (84, 72, 83- 239) was a top 20 finisher, placing in a tie for 17th. Jennifer Norton (88, 79, 81-248), Karine Bolme (86, 84, 82-252) and Kimberley D'Andrea (81, 90, 83-254) rounded out the Owl field with a tie for 34th, 38th, and tie for 40th place respectively.
FAU (329, 313, 323- 965) ended the three round event in 5th place. Washington State (310, 304, 298-912) was the team winner, boasting three athletes in the top ten. Therese Wackenstedt (77, 75, 69-221) from host Florida International was the medalist shooting 5-over-par.
The Owls return back to the green on March 5 in Mobile, AL to take part in the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational.
