Cheer Team Heading to Nationals

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's cheer team will compete at the 2007 Universal Cheer Association National championship this weekend, January 13-14 in Orlando.
The squad performed its "national routine" at Wednesday's men's basketball game for the final time to rousing applause.
The team is one of 16 teams chosen to compete in the Division I-A All-Girls division and were chosen from more than 40 teams to advance to nationals. The Owls are expected to compete against Miami, San Diego State, Texas State and Morehead State to name a few.
The Division I-A All-Girls National Champions will be featured on ESPN.
