FAU Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Track Facility

Florida Atlantic University hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new track and field facility on Wednesday.

FAU President Frank T. Brogan, athletic director Craig Angelos and Track and Field Head Coach Alex Smolka were among the speakers at the event. A crowd of approximately 75 guests including Football Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger and several current and former FAU track athletes attended the event.

The facility is ready for immediate use and will be used for intramural activities in addition to hosting track and field competitions.
