BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University and OLC Solutions have teamed to provide a new and expanded online store service. The new merchandise site, maintained by OLC Solutions, will be housed at www.fausports.com, a site that has provided Owl fans the ability to purchase gear since the fall of 2000.
"As our athletic teams continue to challenge many of the nation's best, we want our students, fans and alumni to proudly show their school spirits by wearing school colors," said Dexter LaMont, FAU's assistant athletic director for marketing and licensing. "Online merchandising is an excellent opportunity to reach all of our constituents and OLC Solutions has made a commitment and has a history of keeping the items fresh." Fans will be afforded the opportunity to purchase items direct via the site, but will also continue to have the opportunity to purchase a selection of items at FAU's Boca Raton campus book store, at selected Barnes and Nobles Book Stores, Champs Sport and Lids. There will also be opportunities to purchase a limited supply of items at all home and away football games, as well as at all home basketball, baseball and softball games.
The women's soccer match scheduled for noon on Sunday, September 17, when the Owls play host to the nation's no. 1 ranked Florida State Seminoles, will be the first opportunity to purchase the new Owl gear at games.
