Tropical Storm Ernesto Update

Boca Raton, FL - As of August 30, 2006 all Florida Atlantic University Athletic events will continue as scheduled. The athletics department will continue to monitor tropical storm Ernesto and it's progress over the next several days to assure the safety of all athletic teams schedule to compete within the next week.
Two teams schedule to compete that still maybe effected by the storm are the men's soccer team schedule to play Stetson in Deland, FL, 7 p.m., on Thursday and the football team scheduled to play Clemson University in South Carolina, Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
At the current time, these events will be played as scheduled, however, please continue to visit www.fausports.com for further updates.
