FAU Announces Arrival of OWL Mobile

Florida Atlantic University's Athletics Department is pleased to announce the addition of the OWL Mobile to help in its efforts to raise awareness for FAU Athletics. The OWL Mobile is painted in school colors and displays contact information for the athletic department.

"Maximizing our marketing budget is key in our efforts to create awareness and promote the outstanding 18 intercollegiate sports on the FAU Boca Raton campus." said Dexter LaMont, assistant athletic director for marketing and licensing at FAU. "We are always thinking of creative ways to increase visibility and awareness of the FAU athletic program and the Owl Mobile will do that every time it hits the streets."

The Owl Mobile will be used to distribute promotional materials, appear at local events, in addition to FAU athletic events. FAU will also create a "Street Team" that will include cheerleaders, dancers and the FAU mascot.
