Owls Pick Up Three Victories at Golden Knight Twilight

ORLANDO, FL -- Yanique Booth, Monika Grabowiecka and the 4x100m relay team picked up victories at the Golden Knight Twilight meet at UCF in Orlando, FL on Saturday.
After qualifying for the NCAA Regional meet last week in the 100m hurdles, Booth picked up a victory in the event with a time of 14.30 seconds. Grabowiecka has been hampered by injuries all season, but has picked up her performance of late and paced the 5,000m field with a time of 18:47.57.
The 4x100m relay team finished its lap first in a time of 46.53 for the third Owl victory on the day.
Other top finishers include Marilyn Stephens in the 400m (56.35 seconds, 2nd place), Lindsay Glover in the 400m hurdles (1:03.39, 2nd) and Brittany Vollmer in the 400m hurdles (1:07.65, 4th).
The Owls continue their quest to qualify more athletes for the NCAA Regional in two weeks when they travel to Georgia Tech on May 12-13. The Regional meet is scheduled for May 26-27 in Greensboro, SC.
