MOBILE, AL - Freshman Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn is atop the leader board after shooting a one under par - 71 in the opening round of the USA Lady Jaguar on Monday. Phol-Uayporn shot a 36 on the front nine and 35 on the back-half of the course to lead the Florida Atlantic University women's golf team on day one of the tournament.
The Thailand native tied her lowest single round total of her career on the par-72, 5,821 yard course the Azalea City Golf Club. June Bolme carded in a first round of score of 76 (38-38) to rest tied in 19th place. Kendall Kirby shot a 37 on the back nine in route to posting a six over par-78 to end the day in 36th place.
Sandi MacDougall - 82 (41-41) and Kimberly D'Andrea -86 (42-44) rounded out the Owls scorecard.
As a team FAU tallied 307 total strokes and entered today's action in fifth place. Middle Tennessee State University recorded 297 strokes to lead all other teams after round one.
The USA Lady Jaguar will conclude today with final round action.
