ORLANDO, FL -- The 2006 UCF Invitational came to end on Tuesday afternoon with the Florida Atlantic University women's golf team carding in a two-round total of 637 (313-324) to finish in 12th place.

June Bolme was the Owls top shooter on the par-72, 5,919 yard course at the Stoneybrook Country Club. She recorded 155 (78-77) strokes over the two-day event and ended tied for 23rd place.

Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn shot a six over par-78 in the second round notching 156 total strokes and end tied for 31st place. Sandi MacDougall tallied 161 (78-83) strokes for the Owls to finish in the top 50.

Kimberly D'Andrea -166 (79-87) and Kendall Kirby - 167 (82-85) rounded out the Owls scorecard.

Rollins College took top team honors with a mark of 595 strokes (294-301) and Susan Nam of Florida International was the medalist carding in a two-under-142 (71-71) over the two-round event.

The Owls will return to the links on Feb.21 at the Miccosukee Championship in Miami, FL.
