Miami, FL -- Sophomore June Bolme led the Florida Atlantic University women's golf team in day one of the Pat Bradley Women's Golf Championship. The Norway native shot a par-73 in the opening round and tallied 79 strokes in round two to card in a six over par-152 and rest in a tie for 16th place going into final round action.
After a first round-83, freshman Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn bounced back to shoot a par-73 in the second round of tournament and finished the day tied in 34th place. Junior Sandi MacDougall totaled 161 (82-79) to finish tied for 64th place after day one.
Freshman Kimberly D'Andrea -164 (80-84) and Whitney Weydig rounded out the Owls scorecard.
As a team the Owls tallied 633 (318-315) strokes on the par-73, 5957 yard course at the Miccosukee Country Club in Miami to sit in 13th place heading into the third round. Augusta State University -599 (299-300) is atop the leader board and Lisbeth Meincke of Georgia State University is three under par with a score of 143 (70-73) to hold the top spot after two rounds.
FAU will conclude the 28th Annual Pat Bradley Women's Golf Championship today with final round action.
