Florida Atlantic University men's golf wrapped up its fall season on Tuesday with a tie for fourth place finish at the Stetson Invitational in Deland, FL. Adam Kolloff's fourth place finish highlighted the three round event at the par 72 6,989 yard Victoria Hills golf course.
Kolloff (72, 77, 72 - 221) shot even par in the tournament's final round to reach his highest finish of the season. Mark Washburn (78, 71, 76 - 225) registered a season best tie for 11th place finish at the tournament with a 9-over par showing. Michael Berger (82, 77, 74- 233) had his best round in the tournament's last day, registering a 2-over par result in the final round. He would place in 23rd. Derren Garber (81, 74, 84 - 239) had a fall best tie for 28th place performance. His second round tied his season low round. Billy Bowling (89, 82, 83 - 254) came in 44th place as the Owls' fifth competitor.
FAU (313, 299, 305 - 917) finished in a tie for 4th place with Embry-Riddle University. Kennesaw State (307, 296, 296 - 899) came in first place with three top 15 finishers. Rollins College golfer Daniel Laughlin (76, 71, 71 - 218) was the medalist, completing the final two rounds 1-under par.
The Owls will return in February for the spring season.
